Tourist Advice Badly Needed - Where to go on Tokyo (No Thanks to the JNTO)

In 10 days a Gaijin work colleague that loves using his camera will be traveling to Tokyo for 3 days WITH his son and a mate both aged 20, and since the JNTO can not be contacted via email ( they don't offer the service) , he has asked me the following:

  • Where is the best place to view and take photos of the new Sky Tree - He was told there is a new bridge over a river that the Skytree and Mt Fuji can both be seen.
  • Is there any 1/2 day Tokyo city sight tours with English speaking guide.

  • What and where are the best & SAFE popular night spots for his 20 year old son with his mate to visit.
  • Recommended popular Night clubs that are not too expensive and are safe for his 20 year old son with his mate to visit.
  • Popular shopping areas and or shops that are suited or his 20 year old son with his mate to visit. (Not like the Ginza)

Note: They are staying in a hotel in Yaesu very close to the Tokyo train station and they don't speak a word of Japanese.

All contributions and / or advice will be most welcome

Many Thanks,
